About the research

The goal of this project is to have thin concrete overlays of asphalt pavements become an accepted technique for Minnesota and its local agencies. This project aims to dismiss fears through education and support, synthesize current criteria to develop cost effectiveness of thin concrete overlays, and implement proper design, construction, and maintenance methods for good performance.
