About the research
This project reviewed the labor, equipment, and material data collection processes, weather severity indices, and performance measurement practices at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and at other similar snowbelt organizations to identify promising strategies that might be used there. New strategies and implementation methods can then be implemented elsewhere to reduce costs and improve performance. The researchers also evaluated the strategies and developed strategy implementation for MnDOT.
