About Alireza

Alireza Sassani is a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute for Transportation, contributing to various research associated with the Center for Transportation Research and Education. He has more than 14 years of experience in urban and transportation infrastructure engineering with a diverse research background that covers various aspects of infrastructure systems. His current research focuses on transportation asset management, intelligent transportation systems, and connected and automated vehicles. Sassani’s research aims to develop integrated infrastructure systems that support the vision of smart cities.
